Just a friendly reminder regarding medication in school: Any medication including but not limited to over the counter (OTC) and prescription must accompany a doctor’s order via the District 54 Medication in school policy and parent signature. Cough drops and “cough soothing pops” are treated like medication. Please do not send your child to school with these or similar items. Please have the District 54 Medication in school form completed by the doctor and signed by you. Students will be sent to the nurse should they be sent to school with medication and a parent/guardian will be called. Please review the D54 Board Policy regarding medication in school.
