We look forward to celebrating Halloween on Friday, October 31. The parade will kick off at 1:00 and parties will follow for some festive fall fun. See the memos below for more information to prepare for a spooktacular and safe celebration

Costumes                                                                                                                          

All costumes must be school appropriate. The expectations for everyday dress are applied to costumes. No look-a-like weapons of any kind are allowed as part of a costume. No gore, blood, or “scary” costumes. Please keep props at home to avoid lost or broken props ahead of your evening festivities.

Costumes can be worn to school on the 31st, or students will dress in their classrooms following the lunch hour. Due to limited time, we will not be allowing students to use the washrooms to change, therefore, costumes must be ones which can be put on over a student’s regular clothes if they do not wear their costume to school. If a student brings a school appropriate mask to school, they may keep it in their locker until the afternoon festivities

Parade & Party Logistics

Students will parade around Campanelli at 1:00. The parade will begin at kinder door #7 and students will head counterclockwise around the building. Students will take two laps around Campanelli. We suggest viewing from the back field or side parking lot for a great view of our costume clad Cougars. Thank you for keeping the sidewalk clear for our students to parade safely.

Class parties will commence immediately following the parade. Volunteers are welcome to take home their student(s) when parties end at 2:15. Please prearrange the early dismissal with classroom teachers and the main office (see emails to include below) for a quick and safe transition out the door.

early pick-up Procedures

We know that sometimes appointments or emergencies mean you need to pick up your child early. If you have an appointment coming up, please let your child’s teacher and the office know ahead of time. You can do this by sending an email to [email protected], [email protected], and your child’s teacher as early as possible. This helps us get ready for your early pick-up.

If you need to make a last-minute change, please notify the teacher and office as soon as you can or before 2:00 PM. This way, we can let the teacher and your child know about the change before dismissal.
