We hope this message finds you well, especially as we know the snow had a major impact on drop off and commutes this morning. We understand how quickly conditions can change as yesterday felt like spring to some and we begin this morning in a winter wonderland. We truly appreciate your flexibility and partnership during this time. With that said, the safety of our children, families, and staff remains our top priority.
We kindly but urgently ask that all families adhere to our safety expectations during drop-off and pick-up. The parking lot is closed from 8:20-8:40a.m. and 2:50-3:10p.m. (2:20-2:40p.m. on Wednesdays) and when there are busses in the parking lot. Thank you for dropping off and picking up on Weathersfield Way or Winchester Lane. If you choose to enter the lot prior to the lot closing, please plan to stay in the lot until all busses drop off or are dismissed. Please do not drop off on Springinsguth Road. Thank you for following all established procedures, remaining attentive, and allowing extra time as needed. These protocols are in place to ensure everyone’s safety, especially during challenging weather conditions.
Additionally, we strongly encourage families to clearly label all jackets, coats, hats, gloves, boots, and snow gear with your child’s name. With layers being added and removed as the weather changes, labeling helps us quickly return items and ensures children stay warm and comfortable.
