We are excited to welcome Graziella Fragale to our Campi community! Graziella is one of our 3rd/4th grade Chinese Immersion teachers. Read below to learn a little more about her:


I attended Illinois State University to get my degree in Elementary Education and an Endorsement in ESL. I was a student teacher in a district in Prospect Heights in 5th grade.

I love spending time with my family and friends even if we are not doing anything crazy! I love watching football and college basketball! Some of my favorite tv shows are Greys Anatomy and The summer I Turned Pretty. I love all types of country music; it helps me relax and refocus my brain.

Some things I am looking forward to this year are getting to know my students, learning even more about their culture and having fun! I am excited for the year!

Our Accelerated 6th Grade Math students are discovering the different types of transformations by describing the “dance moves” of figures on cards! Before even learning the formal vocabulary, students were already identifying rotations, reflections, and translations based on how the figures moved. What a fun way to build mathematical understanding; experience the concept first, then put a name to it #BeCampi

Our 5th and 6th grade Magnet students kicked off our new Microbiome science unit with a hands-on card sort! Students worked together to organize a variety of microscopic and non-microscopic objects by size, making observations, comparing objects, and thinking critically about just how BIG—or incredibly TINY—the world around us can be. 🌎🔬#BeCampi

First graders in Mrs. Schaefer's class are learning how to choose “good fit” books, books that are just right for them, and building their reading stamina along the way! 💪📖 Keep reading, first graders! Your reading muscles are getting stronger every day! 🌟📚 #BeCampi

Our staff decorated their own "BE CAMPI" banners to share a bit about who they are and what makes our school family so special. Each student is currently working on their own banner, which will be displayed in each classroom. We are looking forward to a great school year as We Belong, We Believe, and together, We Become! 💙🧡#BeCampi

We are excited to see our Campi families at Back to School Night on Thursday, August 13 from 5:00-6:30.

Please enter the building through your child’s grade level entrance found on the arrival and dismissal map. This is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with drop off and pick up locations before your child’s first day. If you are unable to make it on August 13, you can send your child with their supplies on their first day of school. If you have more than one child at Campanelli, there will be plenty of time to stop by multiple classrooms to drop off supplies and enjoy the evening’s festivities.

Then, join the PTA on the back field for a FREE dinner of pizza and chips plus water and Sno Cones. Become a member of the PTA and spin the wheel for a prize, order your spiritwear, take a photo at the photobooth and check out the Campi Clubs table! Thank you to our Campanelli PTA for providing dinner and sno cones!

We are so thankful to the Taiwanese Cultural Center who hosted our 5th and 6th grade Chinese immersion students for a day filled with fun and engaging cultural activities! Our students and staff had an amazing time and we appreciate the partnership and opportunity for enrichment! #TogetherWeShine

The Schaumburg Library visited Campanelli today and talked with each class about their Summer Reading Program, Plant a Seed, Read. Campanelli often has a large number of students participate, and we encourage reading over the summer so this is a great program! More information will be sent home soon! #togetherweshine

An afternoon of flower bouquets  and social connection for the ones who help our students bloom! As we head into Teacher Appreciation Week next week, we’re celebrating the dedication, kindness, and immense impact our Campi teachers bring to our students each day. Our Campi Cougars demonstrated how "together we shine" at the District 54 STEAM Showcase last night! We are always amazed at the talent and creativity or our Campi Cougars! Campi & Mead Garden Club Prairie Partners enjoyed a social visit from Wing & Talons this afternoon. We learned a lot about falcons and birds of prey. Thanks for the opportunity, Mrs. Lange and Mr. Pfeifer! #togetherweshine

Together we shine and we’re so thankful for our amazing bus drivers who get our students to and from Campanelli safely. We kicked off the day showing our gratitude with cards and donuts. Thank you, bus drivers, for all you do!
