2019-20 School Year Registration is Due Monday, May 6th
Registration information has either been emailed or will be mailed to parents about registering children for next school year. Here is what you need to do:
Update Your Information: Log on to the parent portal before Monday, May 6, 2019 to review the current information and make any necessary changes. You must hit the SUBMIT button after reviewing the information, even if you don’t make any changes. If we do not receive this required information by May 6th, we will assume your child will no longer be attending District 54 schools. Please inform your school’s secretary where your child will be attending school in the fall so that she can prepare your child’s records for transfer.
Prove Residency: All families that are required to prove that they live within District 54 boundaries should bring in their proof of residency (current property tax bill/mortgage statement or lease, and one utility bill and driver’s license) to their child’s school.
- If you haven’t created a parent portal account, then you would have received paper copies for registration. The registration paperwork and your proof of residency are also due to your child’s school by Monday, May 6th.
Pay Student Fees: You are also able to pay the $50 consumable fee as well as purchase milk online through the portal. You may also still submit a check or money order to your child’s current school. If you believe you will qualify for the Free Lunch Program in the 2019-20 school year, and therefore will qualify for a fee waiver, do not pay the consumable material fee now. Applications will be available in August for the Free Lunch Program
